Faculty Staff Textbook Loan
The Faculty/Staff Textbook loan program is a pilot program for Academic Year 2009/2010. The Textbook Loan Program Committee will assess the results of this program after one year before deciding whether this program can be continued in the Academic Year 2010/2011. In order to qualify for the Faculty Staff Textbook Loan program you must quality for and be enrolled in a tuition waiver class.
The Faculty/Staff Textbook Loan program is funded by UNC Charlotte Business Services and it allows eligible UNC Charlotte employees to borrow required textbooks from the Barnes & Noble bookstore at UNC Charlotte campus store for classes taken as part of the UNC Charlotte Tuition Waiver Program. In order to participate in the Textbook Loan Program specific criteria must be met and an FSTL Program Application must be completed for each term. The purchase price of the books being borrowed is limited to $200 per course (for up to 2 courses per academic year). Exceptions are not granted for late FSTL program applications or textbook returns. An FSTL application form MUST be submitted before the deadline for each term.
