Welcome to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
As president of the Staff Organization, I would like to welcome you to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am pleased you have joined our staff and look forward to meeting you. As you will learn, you are joining the University at an exciting time. The University has been re-classified as a doctoral/research intensive university and with the passage of N.C. Higher Education Improvement Bonds, the University has entered the largest and most aggressive building program in its history. The UNC Charlotte Staff Council was established to create and provide a more harmonious working environment for the staff of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The Staff Council was formed to provide a way for the staff to express their views on matters involving the University. The Staff Council offers the staff a forum to discuss issues that affect the entire campus community.
